VERMONT

IMG_4198Fresh off the excitement of our first Salt City event, we wanted to further explore local food and farms. We had the opportunity to pop-up in Vermont, where our friend was hosting a design show.

We were fortunate to be in contact with a farmer who had heritage breed pigs, some of the last original breeds in the United States.

Known for flavor and distinct characteristics, the 10 heritage breeds are as unique, as they are beautiful. Pig infographics, with information about the breed, were hung around the barn. After the success of the pork buns in our first event, we redesigned our recipe for the Vermont crowd. They were served on cardboard plates, which later became fuel for our campfire.

Great! Success! Huzzah!
